Moataz has over 20 years’ professional experience in container terminals, ports, and logistics park development across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He began his career in port operations, progressing through a range of management and functional roles with top-tier companies.
Moataz has held senior management positions at APM Terminals, AD Ports, and international advisory firms, leading large-scale terminal operations, greenfield developments, and operational transformation programs. He has extensive experience in performance improvement, new terminal development, and delivering complex port and logistics projects.
As Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of PROBOX, Moataz specializes in advisory services for container terminals, ports, and integrated logistics parks, with a focus on masterplanning, operational optimization, project start-ups, and infrastructure development. He supports clients globally, including port operators, governments, and private investors.

Yasser Osama
Yasser is a senior Human Resources Director with more than 25 years of experience specializing in the maritime and container terminal sectors. He brings a unique perspective to leadership, having combined an extensive background in port operations management with strategic human capital development. Throughout his career at APM Terminals and Maersk, Yasser hasled large-scale organizational restructures and spearheaded the digitalization of HR operations. An expert in labor relations and organizational development, he has successfully managed complex workforce strategies across the MENA region. Yasser is dedicated to driving operational efficiency through lean methodology while fostering high-performance cultures that prioritize talent growth and employee engagement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and a post-graduate HR Diploma from the American University in Cairo.

Ahmed Elsiefy
Ahmed has over 20 years of professional experience in commercial operations, corporate leadership, and process excellence across Egypt and the GCC. He built his career through key management roles within leading telecommunications and commercial sectors, including asignificant tenure at Vodafone, where he specialized in developing commercial strategies,marketing plans, and comprehensive policy frameworks.
Throughout his career, Ahmed has focused on enhancing the customer experience and optimizing service delivery systems. His expertise lies in transforming complex business requirements into clear, executable processes that ensure consistency and high performance across multi-functional teams.
As Head of Commercial at PROBOX, Ahmed leverages his extensive background in commercial strategy and customer service to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for our clients. He is responsible for refining the firm’s internal workflows and client engagement strategies, ensuring that every project —from initial advisory to final implementation - is delivered with precision,clarity, and a focus on operational excellence.
Salwa Ousama
Salwa is an Operational Excellence leader with over 16 years of experience across container terminal operations, process excellence, and business transformation. At PROBOX, she leads initiatives that optimize operational performance through Lean methodologies, digital transformation, and continuous improvement, enabling organizations to achieve sustainable business excellence.
Throughout her career, Salwa has held senior leadership roles with APM Terminals and Suez Canal Container Terminal, where she successfully led standardization programs, Lean transformation initiatives, and ERP implementation projects. Her expertise spans operational excellence, process optimization, organizational change management, and cross-functional business integration across complex terminal operations.

Hazem Zekry
Hazem Zekry is a Strategy & Economics Associate at PROBOX, working across advisory, business development, and client delivery on port and logistics projects in the MEA region.
He contributes to the development of market research, feasibility inputs, and client proposals, translating complex information into structured, decision-ready outputs. His role also includes coordinating across projects to ensure alignment in deliverables, timeline and communication.
Operating across multiple functions, he plays a key role in connecting research, proposals, and client delivery—ensuring consistency in how PROBOX analyzes, communicates, and positions its work. He is also involved in developing the firm’s thought leadership and content initiatives, contributing to the firm’s positioning on port operations, market dynamics, geopolitics and regional developments.
With a background in Economics, Hazem is particularly interested in the behavioral and institutional drivers behind market outcomes, bringing a perspective that goes beyond purely technical or financial analysis.
Prior to joining PROBOX, Hazem worked as a Research Assistant at the Behavioral Economics and Decision-Making Lab at the American University in Cairo, supporting field research and data collection for large-scale project in collaboration with public sector stakeholders and international partners. His work involved conducting surveys across diverse regions in Egypt, focusing on behavioral factors such as risk perception, trust, and decision-making.
He has also developed academic research on Africa, with a focus on the intersection of economics, policy, and institutional dynamics, alongside a research proposal exploring the relationship between neuroscience and economic behavior.
